Aiming at the fault tree based Fault Diagnosis Expert system for locomotive,through the introduction of the conception about Binary Fault Tree(BFT),the traditional fault tree was synthesized into the model of one binary fault tree,and then the repository storagy of BFT and diagnosis mechanism were studied,achieving the goal to optimize the fault diagnosis system.
